What ABES-UK do when we become involved with one of your projects.
Our consultants are highly skilled bridge engineers, well versed in international design codes (including Eurocodes) and they are experts in the use of the software tools available to them. This means that they can help solve just about any bridge design problem, often to very tight deadlines.
In the time that it would take you to just work out how to solve a problem, we can have it solved and documented. This will save you time and money, both of which are usually critical in this type of situation.

How We Do It:
We can take data from your AutoCAD drawings and import it into very powerful finite element modelling software (SOFiSTiK) with which we are extremely familiar. This means we can create your models quickly and effectively, and rapidly move onto analysing the bridge and designing its components to the Eurocode Standards (or BS 5400 if required) and producing a full design report. What this means to you is fast solutions to unusual problems.
We quote for your work and deliver it on budget and on schedule as best as any problem solving process can, and when the work is complete we ask you to sign off a Project Completion form, which is how we are able to give many customer references.

What Happens Afterwards:
Of course, if we keep solving the same type of problem for you many times we will be happy to do so, but obviously you would want to use the tools yourselves and save even more money. So, we are also able to supply the necessary modules of SOFiSTiK and train you in how to use them … in fact, many of our customers get involved with us in their very first problem solving exercise, knowing that it will be time well spent.
Perhaps you have enough in-house expertise already, but are looking for powerful software that can solve many types of structural problems (of which bridges is one), and you need someone who can supply the software that you need, train you, support you and generally keep you comfortable.
